Below we have outlined the 8 easy steps on How to Book an Australian Hand Crafted Journey with Outback Encounter

1. Review our Website

We recommend taking the time to review our website in particular the Property, Custom Holiday, Guide and Special Interest sections. This will be a great starting point for you to begin thinking about the style of trip that you are looking for.

2. Contact Outback Encounter

With your ideas flowing for your Australian journey, you have the choice to either make contact by phone +61 8 8354 4405 and speak with an expert Australian Travel Designer from Outback Encounter or fill in our Enquiry form.

From experience we find that if you have the time to chat we can really speed up the process of custom designing your Australian holiday and gain an understanding directly from you of exactly what suits you. Due to time differences you may find completing our Enquiry Form more convenient.

Alternatively we have a close working relationship with selected Tour Operators throughout the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Europe. If you wish to deal with a company that is located in your country, please contact us at your convenience and we will put you in contact with an Agent in your area.

3. The Design phase

Once we have received your initial enquiry by phone or via web, your expert Australian Travel Designer will begin considering your specific requirements for your Australian journey including your travel dates, number of people in your travel party, special interests and style of travel.

Depending on how much information we receive from you in our initial correspondence, we may ask you to complete our Client Questionnaire Form. Our past travellers have found this form to be a very helpful way of communicating your interests and expectations to us for your Australian holiday.

Once our Australian Travel Designer has all the information she requires from you, she will begin her magic and start creating a journey especially tailored for you!

4. Hand crafted Australian journey

You will receive a copy of your proposed hand crafted Australian journey in a full colour itinerary format. Please take the time to read through your itinerary. We are more than happy to answer any questions or comments you may have about your holiday. If your itinerary requires some refining we are happy to do this also.

We offer package pricing which includes all components of your tailor made holiday such as accommodation, touring, meals and charter flights.

Soon you will also be able to offset all your CO2 emissions from your Australian journey, which is the Carbon Neutral program we are currently working on.

5. Confirming your arrangements

In order to confirm your Australian travel arrangements we will send you an invoice for 25% deposit payment of the total trip cost (unless advised otherwise). Once we have received deposit payment we will secure all arrangements for your journey.

6. Final payment

The balance of your trip payment is required 90 days prior to travel (unless advised otherwise).

Approximately 30 days before you travel we will send you a copy of your final itinerary and contact details that you can leave with your family and friends. We will also advise you of our 24 hour emergency contact phone number that you can utilise while in Australia if need be.

7. On Holiday

On arrival at your first destination in Australia all your required travel documentation for your trip will be waiting for you. Your Australian Travel Designer will contact you on arrival and throughout your trip to ensure that it is running smoothly.

8. Feedback

We really value your thoughts and opinions on your holiday. Upon completion of your journey your Australian Travel Designer will send you a feedback form for you to complete.
