If you are looking to submerse yourself in the Australian outback in style than look no further than Wrotham Park Lodge. The Lodge is located on a gorge overlooking the Mitchell River in north Queensland, on a spectacular setting of a 600,000 hectare working cattle station

Wrotham Park Station combines the rich heritage of Australia's rural history and classic cattle station life with a premium resort experience. The resort immerses guests in the rugged beauty, vast landscapes and legendary outback activities of a working cattle station.

Wrotham Park Station is located in Far North Queensland, 300km west of Cairns, in a spectacular setting on a sprawling 600,000 hectare working cattle station. Catering for no more than 20 guests at any one time, 10 superbly appointed ‘Quarters’ and an equally stunning communal lounge and dining facility called “The Homestead” are situated along an escarpment, overlooking the Mitchell River.

Accommodation

Limited to only 10 luxurious guest 'quareters' have been inspired by Australian bush architecture, with a modern twist. Situated along the escarpment with views overlooking the Mitchell River.

Quarters are generous in size, boasting a large deck for the ultimate enjoyment of the outback views. Each individual lodge features a King Size Bed, deep leather armchair, reverse cycle airconditioning, ceiling fan, deck with daybed and squatters chairs and other amenities.

Activities

Depending on your intersts do as much or as little as you please at Wrotham Park Lodge. Included in your stay are half day cattle station tours, horse riding, guided & self-guided nature walks, fishing & fishing drop offs, picnic hampers & drop offs, mountain bikes, station stargazing, pre dinner sunset canapes, 'country chef' cooking demonstrations and interpretive cattle mustering & yard work viewings (seasonal).

Wildlife viewing is quite diverse on the statoin and include the opportunities to see Kingfishers, kookaburas along the riverbanks, Eastern Grey kangaroos and freshwater crocodiles.

Extra activities at an additional cost private guided half & full day 4WD tours and fishing tours, quad bike tours and helicopter flights.

Air Access

Scheduled for jet flight to Cairns Airport. Connect with light aircraft to Wrotham Park, which takes approximately 45 minutes.

Road Access

From Cairns Airport the 4WD vehicle transfer takes approximately 4.5 hours.
